This is a special opportunity to attend a performance by Mari Kelly, the harpist from Merthyr Tydfil.
From a young age Mari was the principal harpist of the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain. During this period, she won at the National Eisteddfod and at the Cerdd Dant Music Festival on numerous occasions.
Mari has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages including the Royal Albert Hall and it’s a privilege to have her back in her home town.
As a former pupil of Ysgol Santes Tydful she will be joined by pupils from the school along with the organist Jonathan Gulliford.
Profits from the evening will go towards funding a portrait of the harpist Elinor Bennett who also has very close links with the town.
